A tool for event production: spaces, staffing and invoicing
Every event is a small project with several parties: your own staff, casual workers, the catering subcontractor and the owner of the venue. The information usually travels as calls and messages, and those disappear.
The event is a site
Every event gets a site of its own, accumulating hours, expenses and staffing. After that the profitability of the event is visible in one place.
Spaces and equipment in the calendar
Halls, private rooms and equipment are bookable resources. Double booking is prevented, and a provisional booking releases itself if it is not confirmed by the agreed date.
Casual workers and subcontractors on board without accounts
A casual worker, a catering subcontractor or a supervisor gets a link of their own. From it they see the offered shift and confirm it, and acknowledge the instructions for the event as read. The supervisor sees the staffing status: two of three places confirmed.
Messages that must be acknowledged
A gate code, a load-out schedule or a safety instruction goes to all parties at once, and an acknowledgement can be required. That way you know who has read it and who has not.
From quote to event to invoice
A quote goes to the customer, who accepts it from a link. An accepted quote becomes the event that the work is logged against, and finally the invoice is assembled from the recorded work.
FAQ
Does this suit a catering business or a function venue?
Yes. Renting out spaces, own staff, casual workers and subcontracted catering are exactly the combination the parties feature and the booking calendar were built for.
Does a casual worker need an app?
No. The link opens in a phone browser, and no account is created for a one-off job.
