A site diary and work reports with photos

When the customer asks six months later what was done at the site and in what weather, the answer exists only if it was recorded. The work report is the site's memory.

The day's work as a single entry

The report records the date, the site, the work phase, weather and temperature, the number of workers, the work done, the materials used, observations and the next steps. An internal note stays for the company's own use and is not visible to the customer.

The work phases are yours

The phase list does not come from the software but from the company's settings. A flooring contractor writes in grinding, priming and coating; an event organiser writes in build-up, the event itself and load-out. Old reports keep their entries even if a phase is removed from the list.

Photos before, during and after

Photos are tagged to a phase, so the site's progress appears in order. This is also the material that either settles a complaint or leaves it as one person's word against another's.

A view link of their own for the customer

Published reports can be shared with the customer through a link that needs no account. The customer sees the reports and photos of their own site and nothing else, and the link can be revoked at any time.

FAQ

Does a work report qualify as a site diary?

Kirjus stores the information normally expected of a site diary. A contract may set requirements of its own, so check the contract terms before replacing an existing practice entirely.

Can the customer see unfinished reports?

No. Only published reports appear behind the view link. A draft is internal to the company.
